I built Motif because I wanted a private, visual place to save the things I come across online --- links, notes, quotes, images, and ideas --- without turning them into another cloud acc. subscription. Most tools either feel too heavy or too dependent on sync and accounts. Motif is my attempt at a quieter, localfirst workspace: something personal and flexible enough to collect ideas w/o overcomplicating them
