Simple rules for a useful showcase.
By submitting a project, you confirm that the information is accurate and that the listing is appropriate for Stage.
Who can submit
You may submit a project if you have the right to share its public information and you are not misrepresenting the project, maker, ownership, or affiliation.
Allowed projects
Projects should have a usable public page and be useful, thoughtful, or interesting to independent makers. Stage may list apps, tools, experiments, open-source projects, local-first software, and small products.
Prohibited projects
Do not submit projects that are deceptive, unsafe, spammy, infringing, malicious, exploitative, or primarily designed for abuse. Stage may also reject projects that are duplicated, broken, misleading, low-effort, or not aligned with the showcase.
Review and publication
Submissions are reviewed manually. Stage may edit copy for clarity, reject unsuitable projects, archive outdated listings, remove unsafe content, or decline projects without publishing them.
Accuracy and ownership
By submitting a project, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to submit it. You are responsible for the content, claims, links, story notes, badges, and ownership information you provide.
Updates and removals
Makers can request listing updates through the project page. Stage may ask for ownership evidence before applying changes. Stage may edit, reject, archive, or remove listings that become outdated, misleading, unsafe, spammy, duplicated, or no longer aligned with the showcase.
Featured, Supporter, and Encore
Featured placement is editorial and cannot be purchased. Still Unheard is also admin-curated and cannot be selected by submitters or purchased. Supporter badges and Encore placements are optional community-support features. They do not mean Stage endorses, certifies, guarantees, or ranks the project.
Support payments
Support is optional and helps keep Stage running. Support confirmations are reviewed manually. A support payment does not guarantee approval, Featured placement, traffic, clicks, search ranking, or continued listing.
No guarantees
Stage does not guarantee approval, publication, traffic, clicks, search visibility, SEO results, uptime, or continued availability. Listings may change as the showcase evolves.
Reports
Anyone may report a listing that appears unsafe, misleading, broken, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate. Reports are reviewed manually and may result in edits, archiving, removal, or no action.
Changes to these terms
Stage may update these terms as the product and showcase evolve. Continued use of Stage after changes means you accept the updated terms.
